The complainant presented. The PIO along with the concerned Executive Engineer (Roads) present.

Heard both the parties. It was intimated to the Commission that local inspection took place on 19.10.06. The complainant objected to erection of bamboo mats for covering the manholes as they are not safe.

Decision of the Commission

It was decided that the concerned Executive Engineer, PWD (Roads) would take steps to cover the man-holes and pits properly within 15/11/06 and show the same to the complainant after which the complainant will submit a report to the Commission as to whether the steps taken were satisfactory or not.
