The petitioner was absent without intimation.

Brief of the case
On 19.5.07 a petition was received by the Commission from Amirul Haque Choudhury, Berenga, Silchar stating that he had not received information sought for from the District Malaria Officer, Cachar. The petition was transferred by the Secretary of the Commission to the Director, health Services, Assam for furnishing the information. On 3.10.07 the petitioner submitted a complaint to the effect that he did not receive the information. Hence this complaint case.

The information sought for are as follows:

1. What are the schemes / projects / programmes, that have been implemented / conducted by the District Malaria Officer, Cachar from 1st April 2004 to 31 st March, 2007.

2. How much amount of money, that the District Malaria Officer, Cachar received for the same.

Submission of the parties
The Commission considered it necessary to hear the case in absence of the complainant based on records. The ASPIO of the Directorate of Health Services submitted that the information had already been sent to the complainant by the D.M.O. Cachar.

Observation of the Commission:
The Commission perused records and found that the D.M.O. Cachar had furnished information and it was found to be complete. The complainant seemed to have received the information.

Decision of the Commission:
On careful consideration of the facts and circumstances- of the case the Commission decided to close the case as full and complete information had been furnished to the complainant.
