The Commission in its order dated 26.6.07 directed the Deputy Commissioner, Nalbari to provide the list of families covered by the Fair Price Shops to the complainant Md. Taijuddin Ahmed latest by 25.7.07. The Deputy Commissioner, Nalbari vide his letter No. 13/2007/72 dated 24.7.07 has intimated the Commission that the complete list has accordingly been furnished to him on 20.7.07.

The Deputy Commissioner, Nalbari was also directed to streamline the system 0f disposal of RTI applications in his office to ensure proper implementation of the RTI Act, 2005. The Commission hopes that he has complied with the instruction and there should be no complaint from public on this account.

As the information has been furnished to the complainant in full, the matter is closed.
